I love to cook and began cooking very young, my Grandmother was from the Abruzzo in Italy and a tremendous cook, she had a stand at the New York State Fair for many years, which people came looking for every year. My mother also was what I would consider a gourmet cook, she's the only person I've ever met that would make Beef Wellington from scratch for a dinner party. We moved to Madrid when I was six months old, so love of both Italian and Spanish dishes run deep. When I cook there is an Italian/American and Spanish influence in my choices of spices and oils. I'm looking forward to posting some very tasty recipes here that I hope you'll try and enjoy.
